FENNEL SPINACH VEGAN SAUSAGE PASTA ALLA VODKA

Long name but the flavor it leaves OMFGGGG! I wouldn’t mind the long name if food tastes this good! Ya know you want the recipe. so sharing below 🤤🤤

Ingredients (serves 3-4)

  • 1/2 pack pasta (I am using large macaroni)
  • 2 tbsps tomato powder (I am using @spicetribe)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 vegan sausages 
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds 
  • 1 cup blanched spinach, chopped 
  • 2 tbsps EVOO
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions 
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce 
  • 1/4 cup pasta water 
  • 1/4 cup vodka (I am using French, Pinnacle Vodka @pinnaclevodka )
  • 1 tbsp dried and crushed basil leaves

METHOD –

  • Boil pasta al dente per package instructions and set aside pasta water 
  • In a pan heat EVOO, and add onions and fennel seeds. Saute until onions become translucent 
  • Then add chopped sausages, marinara and cook until it sticks to the bottom of the pan
  • Then deglaze with vodka, add chopped spinach, milk, pasta water, tomato powder and combine well. 
  • Add pasta and combine gently. I love these large macaroni because bits of sausage, spinach and the sauce sits inside the macaroni making this pasta even more flavorful.
  • Combine and serve hot!

All the pesto haters, unite to evolve your hate for pesto into love. The only way to do it is by hiding the flavor under marinara. That’s what I did in this pull apart heart. A heart shaped bread that’s cheesy and so flavorful. You know you need the recipe so why wait! Go run, try it now!

Ingredients –
🍕1 lbs pizza dough, split in 2 parts 
🍕1/2 cup mozzarella cheese 
🍕3 tbsps marinara sauce 
🍕2 tbsps pesto 
🍕Evoo 
🍕Heart shaped cookie mould 

Method – 
🍕Preheat oven to 400F
🍕Roll the both parts of pizza dough on separate surfaces. Roughly estimate the heart and cut it in a shape of heart with a sharp knife.
🍕On the one half, spread marinara, pesto and cheese. 
🍕Cover this with another half of the heart on top. Tightly press the edges so the sauce or cheese doesn’t escape during baking. 
🍕Place the heart mould in the center, and use the sharp knife to cut the heart vertically (feels so weird as I type it lol)
🍕Twist all the edges like in the video 
🍕Drizzle EVOO on top 
🍕Baked for 17mins 
🍕Serve while its hot
